Dear Shellenberger family,

My family and I are so sorry for your loss. While words fail to truly express the pain, know that our prayers and thoughts are there to encourage you. All humans feel the sting of death but the Bible gives comfort that God promises at 1 Corinthians 15:26 “And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing”. This is something that has brought me and my family solace when we've lost loved ones and we hope it encourages. Take peace and comfort. For comfort from the Bible, please visit

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Gail's family. I visited Gail in early March. While we were high school classmates and friends, she and I now both had the commonality of fighting cancer. I had hoped to bring comfort and hope to her, and found that she blessed me with her strong love and faith in God. She spoke of her love of her family and feeling blessed by her dear friends and and all of the love and care surrounding her. Though she is terribly missed here on this earth, she is now at peace and leaves with us treasured memories of her strength and a life well-lived.

Many thoughts prayers and hugs to Tina, Sue and Nancy along with Liza and Olivia and the rest of the family. Gail and I hail from Port Royal along with Mary Ruth Houtz. We along with our sisters grew up together in the Port Royal Methodist church. Always friendly and had a smile on her face. Rest in peace Gail You are no longer in pain. May GOD family and friends help you all through this difficult time.

To Our extended family,
We are the soul sisters ( Gail, Deb, MaryRuth, and Shirley), what a blessing Gail has been to all our lives. God has blessed us with a very special bond that can never be broken. Gail will live on in our lives and hearts forever, because of the special memories we have and the impact she had on our lives. We always knew that we could count on each other and Gail was the strongest one of us. Gail we will miss your smile, laughs, hugs, and kisses. Every time we were together Gail would say we have to take a picture and sometimes we would be like" alright." We are so thankful Gail always wanted to take those pictures because it captures the fun and love we have for each other. Your soul sisters forever and ever,
Love Shirley, MaryRuth, and Deb
