Mrs. Shoop was a long time active member of the East Waterford Presbyterian Church, where she served as the pianist and organist for many years. She was also a member and secretary of the former Dorsett Grange No. 1888 of Concord, the East Waterford Fire Co., and the Lack Tuscarora EMS.
