Joshua Adam Graybill, 22, of Oakland Mills died at 7:16 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the Emergency room of the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on July 4, 1994, in Derry Township, Mifflin County, he was the son of Randall S. and Diane L. (Symmerman) Graybill of Oakland Mills.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Zachary Scott Graybill of Oakland Mills, paternal grandparents, Donald L. and Mary Jane (Parsons) Graybill of McAlisterville, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the family Golden Retriever “Babe”.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents Donald L. and Nora E. (Nealman) Symmerman.
In 2012 he graduated from East Juniata High School and later, he graduated from Penn Foster with a degree in wildlife and forestry conservation.
He was a member of the Lost Creek Trout Club, Tuscarora Softball Assoc., Mifflin and at one time the Future Farmers of America.
Currently he was employed by Donald L. Graybill and Sons poultry farm, McAlisterville.
Being an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and loved fishing and trapping. He is well known for the flies that he tied for fisherman.
Joshua was kind hearted, selfless and fought a good fight. He always said “God gives the toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.”
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from the Church of the Open Door, Evendale with Pastor Jerry Knouse officiating. Interment will follow in the Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown.
A viewing will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville.
