Ronald B. Stong, 80 of Mifflintown, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at home.
Born on March 26, 1942 in Walker Twp., Juniata County, he is a son of the late Benjamin and Virginia (Bilger) Stong. On March 7th,1964 he married his wife, Joan R. (Crozier) Stong, with whom he was blessed to share 59 years of marriage.
He is survived by his children, Colby Stong of Mifflintown, Ronald Stong and wife, Rose of Mifflin, Shannon Stong and companion Tammy of Sharpsburg, Maryland. He is also survived by a sister, Maryann Kantz and husband, Allen of Richfield and a brother, Bill Stong and wife, Pat of Honey Grove. Ronald also loved two cats.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Stong.
Mr. Stong was the General Manager of Mertz Ford in McAlisterville for over twenty years, after that he worked at Leidy Ford of Mifflintown for over fifteen years.
His memberships included the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Juniata Valley Forrest #88 and the Union Lodge no. 324 F&A.M. of Mifflintown.
He loved watching sports and Nascar Racing.
