Obituary for Annette K. Frymoyer (Fogleman)



Annette K. Frymoyer, 66, of McAlisterville, passed away at 7:52 PM on Monday, January 9, 2023 at UPMC West Shore Hospital.

Born on September 13, 1956 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is the daughter of the late Paul R. “Dick” and Thelma I. (Leister) Fogleman.

On February 8, 2014, she married her surviving husband, James K. “Jim” Frymoyer with whom she was blessed to share almost 9 years of marriage before her passing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Andrew P. Haines and his wife Billie and Timothy J. Haines and his wife Monica, all of McAlisterville; six grandchildren, Gracen, Gavin, Camille, Lucy, Katherine, and Lincoln Haines; two sisters, Janice Fogleman and Lois Troutman, both of McAlisterville; two step-sons, Corey Frymoyer and his wife Jamie and Mathew Frymoyer, both of Mifflintown; two step grandsons, Talan Brandt and Winston Frymoyer; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother in law, Kenneth E. Troutman.

Annette was a 1974 graduate of East Juniata High School in Cocolamus and graduated from Messiah College in Mechanicsburg with a Bachelors Degree in Education.

She was a proud educator with over 28 years of service to the Juniata County School District and will be remembered by many of her students as Mrs. Haines.

Mrs. Frymoyer was a member and attended the Good News Lutheran Brethren Church in McAlisterville where she served as the former pianist for the church and loved to sing in church. She will also be remembered for writing and directing various plays in local churches, previously teaching piano to many students, and playing the piano at many weddings

She enjoyed swimming, going to the beach, cooking, watching Penn State football, listening to and creating music; however, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her sons and grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Good News Lutheran Brethren Church, 32868 Route 35 North, McAlisterville with the Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, McAlisterville.

A closed casket visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday at the church.
