Obituary for Janet R. Kepner
Janet R. Kepner, 67, of Mifflintown, passed away at 10:15 a.m., on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the Centre Care Rehabilitation and Wellness Services in Bellefonte.
Born on September 17, 1954 in Port Royal, Juniata County, she is the daughter of the late Herman C. “Manny” and Laentena Mae (Brackbill) Kepner.
She is survived by her brother Richard Kepner and his wife Gloria of Thompsontown; her sister, Gloria Detra and her husband John of Locust Run; her sister in law, Ann Kepner of Mifflintown with whom she resided with for the last 30 years; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Kepner.
Janet attended school for several years in Mexico, PA and most recently worked at Skills of PA.
She enjoyed singing, especially her favorite song “Long Black Train” and dancing, especially line dancing.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 9th at 10:30 a.m. at New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
