Obituary for Brenda L. Taylor
Brenda L. Taylor, 76, of Mifflin passed away at 11:48 AM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill.
Born on May 9, 1945 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is the daughter of the late Lester and Virginia (Dunn) Walters.
On August 26, 1965, she married her surviving husband, Warren W. Taylor with whom she was blessed to share more than 56 years of marriage before her passing.
She is survived by: her daughter, Chelsea L. Boyer and her husband Rob of Port Royal; one grandson, Andrew T. Boyer and his wife Marissa; and one great granddaughter, Brinley T. Boyer.
Mrs. Taylor was a 1963 graduate of Juniata Joint High School in Mifflintown and had attended the Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington, DE.
In earlier life, Brenda was employed by Dr. Suter. After that, she was employed and retired in 2013 with over 37 years of service at the Juniata Valley Bank.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Mifflin and enjoyed shopping and going out with her friends; however, her greatest joy came from time spent with her great-granddaughter, Brinley.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Pastor Ron Berrus officiating. Interment will be private.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the Memorial Services at 10:30 on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Taylor’s memory can be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 304 Juniata St., P.O. Box F, Mifflin, PA 17058.
