Obituary for Patricia A. "Pat" Burkholder (Fanus)
Patricia A. “Pat” (Fanus) Burkholder, 83, of McAlisterville, passed away at 12:05 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born on December 25, 1938 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, she is the daughter of the late Grover Herbert and Margaret Elizabeth Fanus.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Martin of New Cumberland, Crystal Witmer of McAlisterville, Peg Sheesley and her husband Kevin of Landisburg, and Donna Ehrenzeller and her husband Cris of McAlisterville; one son in law, Richard “Dick” Foultz of Liverpool; five grandchildren, Richard Sheesley, Jason McGowan, Wesley Witmer, Tammy Witmer, and Autumn Specht; and four great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Foultz; her son, Wesley Witmer; her granddaughter, Dawn Martin; four brothers and one sister making her the last of her generation.
She was of Protestant faith who loved God, Elvis, and her family.
Pat will be remembered for her deep love and care of animals, especially the neighborhood cats and dogs.
All services and interment will be private.
