Obituary for Barry J. Berrier
Barry J. Berrier, 67, of Walnut, passed away at 7:53 PM, Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.
Born on November 26, 1954 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of the late Stanley H. “Todd” and La Rue (Palm) Berrier.
He is survived by: two sons, Barry J. Berrier Jr. and his wife Amy of Port Royal and Joseph M. Berrier of Lewistown; three grandchildren, Mercedes R. Berrier, Gage C. Berrier, and Elise B. Berrier. He was also the sibling to twelve brothers and sisters, Shelby Trego, Stanley Berrier, Jr., Melodye Berrier, Bonnie Baumgarder, Virginia Paden, Donald Berrier, Raymond “Mick” Berrier, Kathrine Dalton, Vivian Frye, John Berrier, Sr., Dory Shearer, and Mary Seber.
For most of his life, Barry was involved in the Logging Industry.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, muscle cars, being outdoors, staying busy, and loved animals, especially his dogs; however, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering is being planned and will be announced at a later time.
