Obituary for James A. "Jim" Clark

James A. “Jim” Clark, 74, of Honey Grove, passed away at 6:21 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021, at the UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
Born on November 22, 1946, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Norman D. and Catharine “Kate” (Moyer) Clark. On July 28, 1974, he married his surviving wife, Brenda L. (Swartz) Clark, with whom he was blessed to share nearly 47 years of marriage before his passing.
Surviving him are a son, David J. Clark, and his wife Cari, of Mechanicsburg, a sister, Mary Ann Shellenberger, of Carlisle, and a granddaughter, Anna.
Mr. Clark was a member and attended Lower Tuscarora Presbyterian Church in Academia and many other various civic organizations.
He was the owner-operator of Norman D. Clark & Son, Inc., Honey Grove and retired as the manager of Dotterer Farm Equipment, Honey Grove.
Jim enjoyed all types of racing and had a passion for woodworking.
The family has requested that masks be required for anybody attending the memorial service which will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with the Vicar Samuel J. Leister officiating. Interment will be private in the Academia Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
