Obituary for Scott A. Hosler

Scott A. Hosler, 54, of Mexico, passed away at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his residence.

Born on October 12, 1966, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is a son of the late Homer and Erma Hosler. On September 25, 2004, he married his surviving wife, Tracy L. Hosler, with whom he was blessed to share more than 16 years of marriage.

Surviving him are two daughters, Kayla Hostler, Sierra Farleman; 4 sisters, Mary Walton, Stell Benner, Sue Schellehamer, Jill Marshall and 7 brothers, Ron Hosler, Tim Hosler, Donnie Hosler, Peter Hosler, Ralph Hosler, Carl Hosler and Jack Hosler, also he leaves behind three precious grandchildren Jaxon Hostler, Easton Hostler and Ellison Hostler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Wanda Burns.

He was a 1985 graduate of Juniata High School in Mifflintown and while his health permitted, he was employed as a welder at Blue Valley Industries in Port Royal.

Scott loved hunting, fishing, shooting archery, but most all, he loved the Lord Jesus and being with his grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 7, 2021, at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Pastor Keith Graybill officiating. Interment will follow at Union Memorial Gardens, Mifflintown.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
