In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Bobby Hockenberry; and three sisters and five brothers, making her the last of her generation.
Dorothy had attended A New Beginnings Community Church in Spruce Hill and was a proud homemaker.
She enjoyed watching TV shows, especially Days of Our Lives and Last Man Standing, reading her Bible, and loved flowers and plants; however, spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, brought her the most joy.
