Doug, Linda, Joe, Diane and the rest of the Deihl family. Saddened to see your Mom’s passing.
I remember as youngsters all coming to your place on Saturday evenings, breaking ice wherever we could find it and hand churning a couple of freezers of ice cream. Also I remember staying with your family while Mom was in the hospital having one of her many back surgeries. Lastly anytime I think of your Mom I think of the story my mother always told me about your and my Mom and Shirley Hughey playing scrabble one afternoon Your Mom put on the board GETTY and started writing down the score for it Shirely stood up up and said whoa whoa whoa Esther you GETTY that the off the board right now
