Obituary for Clair D. Ronk
Clair D. Ronk, 91, of Oakland Mills, formerly of Hesston, passed away at 8:00 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Bridges at Brookline in Mifflintown.
Born on February 4, 1929 in Huntingdon, Huntingdon Co., he is a son of the late Moses and Elsie (Reed) Ronk
On June 2, 1956, he married his surviving wife, M. Kathleen (Low) Ronk with whom he was blessed to share over 64 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David C. Ronk and his wife Barbara of Mohnton, Charlene L. Kane of Oakland Mills, and Faith A.E. Imler and her husband William of Camp Hill; one sister, Carol Neimann and her husband John of Texas; six grandchildren, Sarah Ronk, Shara Smith, Bethany Smith and her husband Nathan, Brian Kane and his wife Erica, Deanne Eldred and her husband Dennis, Kay Martin, and Christopher Spencer; and thirteen great grandchildren with one on the way.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son in law, K. Kristopher Kane and all of his other siblings.
Mr. Ronk was employed and retired after 35 years of service as a Laborer with Owens Corning Fiberglass.
Clair enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and his family.
All Services will be Private with Pastor Graham C. Fowler officiating. Interment will take place at the White Church Cemetery in Penn Twp., Huntingdon Co.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlistervill
