Nothing can ever replace the loss of Pap. Or the love I have for him. He was the most kind and gentle person I have ever met and he was the only pap Mikey and I truly ever had. I have so many memories that I’ll never forget. Growing up when I heard other kids talking about step parents or grandparents, I had no idea what exactly they were talking about. I never knew I was a part of something like that bc I was treated the same as all the other kids in the family. Pap will never truly be gone bc he has left behind his legacy in my dad. His soft spoken voice and his love for everyone and indifference.

George Buchanan

Hello, my name is George Buchanan.Rick and I started working together at New Holland back in November of 1976. Many of those 32 years I spent working with or very close to him.
The last 6 or 7 we were partners on the SP and Bale wagon lines. If I was having a bad day he could always pick me up.Rick was extremely talented in any job he did , it was a pleasure to spend all those years with him. I would always tell him he was my Hero and I truly meant that. The last we communicated was Fathers Day. He always texted me on all holidays and never missed my Birthday. I will miss his wit and humor. He was and always be my Hero.
