Obituary for Esther E. Dunkelberger (Ebright)
Esther E. Dunkelberger, 77, of Mifflintown, passed away at 9:05 a.m., on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at her home.
Born September 21, 1942, in Mifflintown, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Nestor K. and Edith A. (Pennington) Ebright. On April 27, 1968 she married her surviving husband, Richard A. “Dick” Dunkelberger with whom she was blessed to share nearly 52 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Laura R. Baumgardner and her husband “Chip” and his daughter Kiersten, all of Mifflintown; 3 sisters, Sara Katherine “Kitty” Walters, of Port Royal, Anna Margaret Hooker, of Belmont, Mich., Joann Landis, of Surprise, AZ, several generations of nieces and nephews and the family would like to send a special heart felt thank you to her niece Tara Swartz.
A brother, William N. Ebright preceded her in death.
She was a 1960 graduate of Juniata Joint High School, Mifflintown and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin.
Esther was a homemaker, who enjoyed gardening flowers, crocheting and sewing.
As per Mrs. Dunkelberger’s request there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc. 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
