Obituary for Linda Kaye Chronister (DeArmitt)
Linda Kaye Chronister, 68, of Mifflin, passed away at 12:25 AM on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Carolyn’s House in Harrisburg.
Born on October 6, 1951 in Pottstown, Montgomery County, she is a daughter of the late William Lynn and Faye (Worrall) DeArmitt.
On January 5, 2008, she married her surviving husband, Gary L. Chronister with whom she was blessed to share over 12 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: two sons, Jason Davis and his companion Keri Lesh, Mitchell Haubert and his companion Mindy Williams; a daughter, Mindy Musser and her husband Lance all of Mifflintown; and she leaves behind two grandchildren, Landon Musser and Cora Musser.
Mrs. Chronister was a 1969 graduate of Juniata High School, a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Mifflintown, a member of the American Legion Post 298 in Mifflintown, and the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 143 in Lewistown.
She will long be remembered as a waitress at the Family House Restaurant of Mifflintown and she also served as a waitress at several other restaurants throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Linda enjoyed traveling, camping at NASCAR races, camping at the Locust Campground; however, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 from the Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 4633 Cuba Mills Road, Mifflintown with Pastor Jennifer Heikes officiating. Interment will be private.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial services at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from the church.
