Obituary for Madalene R. Seifred
Madalene R. Seifred, 80, of Carlisle, formerly of Bunkertown, passed away at 9:35 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at her residence.
Born on August 4, 1938 in Bunkertown, Juniata Co., she is a daughter of the late Harry S. Sr. and Fay Elizabeth (Gardner) Seifred.
She is survived by one daughter, Roslyn S. Rogers and her husband Scott of Mechanicsburg; one son, Lee S. Zeiders of Gettysburg; one sister, Velma Greiner and her husband Richard Quinn of Davenport, FL; four grandchildren, Kelly Cofiell, Kristine Zeiders, Christopher Rogers, and Cameron Rogers; two great-grandchildren, Austin Cofiell and Ryelee Cofiell; three nephews; and six nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harry S. Seifred Jr. and one sister in infancy.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Goodwill Cemetery, McAlisterville with the Rev. Graham C. Fowler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ms. Seifred’s memory to Hagee Ministries, P.O. Box 1400, San Antonio, TX 78295-1400.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville.
