Weiand and his wife Patty J. of Thompsontown; siblings, Charles Weiand and his wife Joan of Thompsontown, Arlene Teel and husband; Donald of Shawnee, KS , Iris Wilson and her husband Leon of Manheim, and Sandy Summers and companion Gary of Lewistown; three grandchildren, Joshua Weiand and his wife Ali, Seth Weiand, and Kacy Rhoads and her husband Jesse; and five great-grandchildren, Trey, Chase, and Drew Weiand, and Gage and Cooper Rhoads.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Weiand and a sister, Ralphetta Schlegel.
Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Free Spring Church of the Brethren, 670 Free Spring Church Road, Mifflintown with Pastor Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Thompsontown.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.
