Obituary for Mildred E. Musser (Hull)

Mildred E. Musser, 95, of McAlisterville, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:55 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle West Shore Hospital in Mechanicsburg.
Born on August 1, 1922 in Lititz, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late LeRoy and Mary (Dorwart) Hull.
On February 7, 1941, she married her late husband, D. Penrose Musser, whom she was blessed to share 34 years of marriage before he passed away on March 25, 1975.
Mildred is the last of her generation and is survived by her children, Donald L. Musser and his wife Joan of McAlisterville and Donna L. Falcone and her husband Gregory of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Lance E. Musser and his wife Mindy, Brent E. Musser and his wife Jill, and Anthony Falcone; four great grandchildren, Landon G., Cora J., Julie M. and Cole A. Musser; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Sheerer and Mabel Sherwood.
She was a 1940 graduate of Thompsontown High School and had been employed and retired in 1982 as a Clerk for the Pennsylvania Department of Motor Vehicles.
Mrs. Musser was a life-long member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Thompsontown. Earlier in life, she enjoyed traveling in the winter time to Florida. Being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with Pastor Losch officiating. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Thompsontown.
