OBITUARY NOTICE
ARTHUR W. “ART” EHRENZELLER

Arthur W. “Art” Ehrenzeller, 77, of Mifflintown, passed away at 3:10 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at his home.
Born on May 13, 1940 in Milford Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late William D. and Carrie M. (Farleman) Ehrenzeller. On April 17, 1965, he married his surviving wife, Barbara (Derr) Ehrenzeller, with whom he was blessed to share almost 53 years of marriage.
Surviving are; a step-son, Douglas Vaughn and his wife Alison, Grapevine, TX, 3sons, Rick Ehrenzeller and his wife Tammy, Kevin Ehrenzeller, all of Mifflintown, William Ehrenzeller and his wife Stephanie, of Port Royal, siblings, Darwin Ehrenzeller and his companion Audrey Ehrenzeller, of McAlisterville, Charlotte Renninger, Jess Ehrenzeller and his wife Beatrice, Virginia Ehrenzeller, Ken Ehrenzeller and his wife Jean, Fred Ehrenzeller, all of Mifflintown and Art’s four legged canine friend Tiny, also 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Ehrenzeller was a member of the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Mifflintown, the Juniata Sewerage Committee, a former member of Ducks Unlimited and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
In earlier life, he was employed on the John Sheesley farm, after which he was employed by Fisher Electronics, Milroy before he worked for 23 ½ years for John E. Groninger General Contractor, Mexico, currently he was self-employed owning and operating an excavating business. He was also currently a township supervisor for Milford Township serving in his 28th year.
Art was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved hunting and racing, with his love of racing he at one time raced on the local dirt tracks and for many years he served as the third turn flagman at the Port Royal Speedway. Through his racing affiliation he was a member of the Williams Grove Speedway Old Timers Club.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from the St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 8489 Licking Creek Road, Mifflintown with the Rev. Chris Mathiason officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
A viewing will be from 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday, March 19, 2018, at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the Church.
