Harlan Huber Martin, 52, of Seven Stars (Millerstown), PA, passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2017, from cancer.
Born Nov. 4, 1964, in Annville, Lebanon County, he was a son of Emma (Huber) Martin-Seibel, of Columbia and the late Allen O. Martin. On June 28, 1986 he married his surviving wife, Linda A. (Zimmerman) Martin, with whom he shared 31 years of marriage.
He is survived by 1 son, Bradley Martin, of Millerstown; 4 daughters, Stephanie Shirk, wife of Larry, of McClure, and Lanita Martin, Alison Martin, and Charlotte Martin, all of Millerstown; 3 grandchildren, Megan, Alex, and Marjorie Shirk, of McClure; 2 brothers, Carl Martin, husband of Nancy, of Lititz, and Linford Seibel, of Columbia; 3 sisters, Arlene Snyder, of Millerstown, Joyce Witmer, wife of Duane, of Tyrone, and Julia Sensenig, wife of Thomas, of Columbia, PA; 4 stepbrothers and 3 stepsisters.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather Harvey H. Seibel.
Harlan was a minister at Cocolamus Mennonite church for 20 years. He lived his dream
of farming, and was a founding partner of Seven Stars Dairy.
The visitation will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 1:30-4 pm and 6-8 pm, and the funeral will be held Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10 am, both at Bunkertown Church of the Brethren, McAlisterville. The interment will be at Goodwill Cemetery.
He will be greatly missed.
