I first met Dutch many years ago when he bought furs and sold supplies @ Cocolamus. I had the pleasure of going along with him to the past 6 National Trappers Association conventions, some of those conventions was an eighteen to twenty hour trip for us. You get to know a lot about a person when you ride with him for that long. On those long trips I doubt there was ever a period of 5 minutes of silence, one would wonder what you could talk about for so long but Dutch and I found a way. Dutch was a huge asset to the trapping community and a best friend. I will miss Dutch tremendously. I will especially miss hearing "Are You With Me".
