Condolences

Condolence From: John Cramer
Condolence: To all Phil's family and friends, I was very sorry to learn of Phil's passing upon reading his obituary in the Juniata Sentinel this week. Phil was a classmate from first grade through high school. He was always a calm and kind person, traits that seemed to be enhanced as I met him over the years on various occasions and at class reunions. I remember how concerned he was at the orchard auction that my daughter and I would get home safely with a couple of ladders we had purchased. I also remember Phil as an outstanding athlete, a pass catching end in football (especially effective on the "SMU play"), a basketball player with a superb hook shot, and a skilled first baseman with power to right center field. We will all surely miss him the next time the class of '59 gathers. I hope in time your good memories will ease the sense of loss of the present time. Sincerely, John Cramer
