MIFFLIN, Juliann T. Eaton, 80, of the Locust Grove Retirement Village and formerly of Honey Grove died at 4:20 a.m., on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Village.
Born on February 19, 1933 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Josephine F. (Derr) Warner. In 1955, she married her surviving husband, Warren F. Eaton, Sr., with whom she shared nearly 58 years of marriage.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Warren F. Eaton, Jr. of Honey Grove, John A. Eaton and his wife Cathy, of Mifflintown, Theodore J. Eaton, of Honey Grove, Jeremy P. Eaton and his wife Tina, of McAlisterville, William S. Eaton, of Mifflintown, Joseph M. Eaton, of Honey Grove; siblings, Josh S. Warner and his wife Peggy, of East New Market, MD, Glenna C. Lauck and her husband Al, of Hurlock, MD, Fred C. Warner and his wife Helen, of MD, and she leaves behind six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
One grandson, Derek J. Eaton, one brother, George D. Warner and one sister, Margaret Mary Warner preceded her in death.
Mrs. Eaton was a 1951 graduate of Fayette High School, McAlisterville and a member of the St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Mifflintown.
In earlier life, she worked as a telephone operator in Harrisburg and as a clerk for Leppert’s Five and Ten, Mifflintown, however she spent most of her life as a home maker.
Sending and receiving birthday and Christmas cards was a great joy to Juliann.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, from the St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Mifflintown with the Rev. William M. Weary officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Doylesburg.
Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
