Obituary for Douglas Delancey

Douglas W. Delancey, 61, of Mifflintown, passed away at 5:05 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on May 15, 1957, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of Martha M. (Lauver) Delancey, of Brookline Manor, Mifflintown and the late H. Russell Delancey.
Surviving are a sister, Linda J. Bossert and her companion John Geedey, of Mifflintown, a niece, Melissa Paden and her husband Rick and their family, a nephew, George J. Bossert and his wife Louise and their family also his 4 cats.
A brother, Steven R. Delancey, preceded him in death.
Every Wednesday Doug loved attending the Reedsville Flea Market; he also enjoyed eating out at various restaurants and another of his favorite past times was model railroading and attending train shows.
A celebration of his life and interment will be private and held at a later date.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
