Obituary for L. Louise Kipp (Wagner)

L. Louise Kipp, 92, of McAlisterville passed away at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown.
Born on May 8, 1925 in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Esther (Deamer) Wagner and her step mother, Arlene (Casner) Wagner. On May 14, 1942 she married her late husband, Harold S. “Pooch” Kipp, with whom she was blessed to share more than 75 years of marriage, before he preceded her in death by 17 hours on March 7, 2018.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. (Kipp) Brofee and her husband Merril, of Millerstown; a granddaughter Leanne Kipp-Brofee Morgan and her husband Matthew; great grandsons, Mason, Levi and Max Morgan; as well as seven nieces and nephews.
One brother, Harry M. Wagner, Jr., preceded her in death.
Louise was a member of the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church, McAlisterville, where she was an active member of the Presbyterian Women of the church.
Mrs. Kipp along with her late husband, “Pooch” owned and operated Kipp’s Meat Market, for 41 years until retiring in 1986. She also served as an Avon Representative for 57 years, where she earned the Presidents Club Award for many years.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, McAlisterville.
