Erma M. Wall, 84, of Mifflintown, passed away at 12:50 a.m., on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at the Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown.
Born March 15, 1933, in Mifflintown, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late David A. and Olive Jane (Yocum) Yeater. Her husband, Eugene Wall, preceded her in death in February of 2000.
Surviving are her siblings: Clayton Dean Yeater and wife Mary Evelyn, Esther A. Weader and her husband James, Sr., all of McAlisterville, Mary Alice Jane Geedey and her husband Raymond, of Mifflintown as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were a brother, Charles Leroy Yeater and a sister, Pauline Ruth Kramer.
Mrs. Wall was a member of the McAlisterville United Methodist Church, who in earlier life was employed by Empire Kosher Poultry, Inc., Mifflintown and later provided in-home cleaning and care for the elderly.
Erma was a well-known baker, and spending time with her family was her greatest joy.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with Pastor Jennifer Heikes officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Viewing will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the funeral home.
