Obituary for William F. "WOLFCO" Frey

William F. “WOLFCO” Frey, 91, of Mifflintown and formerly of King of Prussia died at 12:49 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born on November 6, 1926, in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late John and Bertha (Klotz) Frey.
Surviving are his sons, Mark Frey and his wife Sheri, of King of Prussia, Paul Frey and his wife Suzanne, of Charlotte, NC and his grandchildren, Katie Frey, Connor Frey and Brennan Frey.
He is the last of his generation having been preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Frey and an infant brother.
William was a 1944 graduate of Upper Marion High School, and a 1955 graduate of American Institute of Banking.
Mr. Frey was employed as a compliance officer for FDIC, Fidelity Bank, Philadelphia, Peoples Bank, Omega Bank and until retiring, Juniata Valley Bank.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WW II.
Bill was a member of the Senior Coffee Club at McDonalds, who enjoyed bargain hunting, and the “Art of the Deal”. He also enjoyed his walks on Arch Rock Road and Cuba Mills Road.
A funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown with the Rev. Michael Sigler officiating, where the Juniata County Veterans Council will accord full military burial honors. Interment will follow in the Lawn View Cemetery, Philadelphia.
Viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
