Jeremiah D. Brackbill, 31, of Mifflintown, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 in Cumberland County as the result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Born on June 23, 1986, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, he is the son of Gerald L. Brackbill of Mifflin and Susan A. (Weaver) Brackbill of Mifflintown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his Maternal Grandparents, Lee and Peggy Weaver, Maternal Aunt, Christen (Weaver) Barger all of Mifflintown, Paternal Uncles, Charles Brackbill, of McAlisterville, Gary Brackbill and his wife Deb, David Brackbill and his wife Becky, Gilbert Brackbill and his wife Deb, Mike Brackbill and his wife Tammy, Doug Brackbill and his wife Patsy, all of Mifflintown; several cousins and last but not least his beloved four legged canine friend Tony.
His Paternal Grandparents, Leslie and Anna (Muldoon) Brackbill, preceded him in death.
He was a graduate of Juniata High School, Mifflintown and a graduate of Hiram G. Andrews Center Commonwealth Technical Institute, Johnstown where he studied plumbing and maintenance.
His memberships included, the First Baptist Church, Mifflintown, participating with the Special Olympics (which still held a special place in his heart) and a longtime member of the Juniata County 4H Livestock Club.
Currently he was employed at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown with the maintenance and housekeeping depts.
Jeremiah enjoyed being industrious, always working on cars, his house and doing yardwork; however his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from the First Baptist Church Family Ministry Center, Mifflintown (located behind the main church building) with Pastor Ronald Shupe officiating. Interment will private.
There will be no viewing; however, following the service there will be a time of visitation and fellowship along with a meal in the ministry center.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown.
