Dale R. Arnold, 71, of McAlisterville passed away at 6:42 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown.
Born on October 31, 1945 in Fayette Township, Juniata County he was a son of the late Raymond S. and Edna C. (Naylor) Arnold.
He is survived by a brother, Paul A. Arnold and his wife Karen, of Cocolamus, nieces and nephews, Sherri Landis and her husband Jim, Scott Arnold and his wife Jessica, Fred Arnold and his wife Toni, Nicole Shipp and her husband Robert, III, Angie Houck and her husband Kevin, and 11 grand nieces and nephews.
A brother, Fred L. Arnold, preceded him in death.
Formerly he had been a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 925, Millerstown.
In 2005, he retired as a mail clerk for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg after nearly 40 years of service.
Dale was an avid bowler, who enjoyed riding four-wheeler on his family farm where he was born.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville with the Rev. Candace Arnold and the Rev. Robert Graybill officiating. Interment will follow in the East Salem Cemetery, East Salem.
A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
