REEDSVILLE, Donald L. Taggart, Jr., 55, of Reedsville and formerly of Coatesville died on Friday, January 10, 2014 at his home.
Born on December 27, 1958 in Coatesville, Chester County, he was a son of Ruth W. (Whitely) Taggart of Honey Grove and the late Donald L. Taggart.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Ryan M. Taggart, of Pottstown, Megan R. Taggart, of Coatesville, siblings, Pamela Breitenbach and her husband William, Timothy Taggart and his wife Karri, all of Coatesville. He also leaves behind a niece and a nephew.
Mr. Taggart was a 1976 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School and at one time been employed as a welder at Morgan Corp., Morgantown.
Donald loved to fish, play chess, watch football and his daily devotions of reading his bible; however his greatest joy came from his children.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18th, 2014, from the Wagontown Union Chapel, 469 West Kings Highway, Coatesville, with the Pastor Tim Crans officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
The Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown has been entrusted with the arrangements.
